Meet the Team

John Vereker

Audiologist

John joined Audi-Lab in early 2024. He is a registered member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists since 2012. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Audiology from the Technological University of Shannon and a further Diploma in Health Science from the University of Murcia. He is a qualified Lyric practitioner and fully accredited wax removal (both Micro suction and irrigation). Prior to working at Audi-Lab, John spent his previous 10 years working for 2 other nationally recognised Hearing Healthcare companies in both clinic based and national roles. John's natural empathy, coupled with a thorough approach to testing right through to prescription results in him receiving exceptional patient outcomes as acknowledged by his patients. Outside of the practice, John is a keen hurler and can often be found at Nowlan Park, supporting his hometown club Kilkenny.

Marc Reidy

Audiologist

Marc Reidy joined Audi-Lab in 2021. He is a registered member of the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologist since 2015. Marc holds an Fd.Sc in Audiology from Oxford Brooks University and is highly proficient in ear wax removal having completed the Clinical Ear Care course in 2018 in both Micro suction and Irrigation. It was Marc’s kind and patient personality that attracted Audi-Lab to ask him to join the practice. Marc also brings a wealth of experience having worked with two of the major global hearing aid manufacturers, training Audiologists on how to fit their hearing aids. Marc has also worked in private audiology practice fitting hearing systems for many years. It was Audi-lab’s independence, customer-focused ethos and commitment to continuous training which attracted him to join the team. This along with Marc’s combined knowledge and expertise gives Marc the ability to select the very best hearing system for your individual needs.

Jane Shields

Practice Manager Sutton

Jane is our longest serving member of the team, who has been with us for over 7 years. She began her career at Audi-Lab working as a receptionist at our Raheny Clinic and has since transitioned into the role of Practice Manager at our Sutton Cross Clinic. Jane’s experience from her previous roles has enabled her to develop in to a highly professional customer care focussed Practice Manager. She holds our company values closely – To provide exceptional Hearing care that connects people through better hearing.

The demanding role of Practice Manager requires the person to wear multiple hats in order to ensure the smooth running of the clinical operations, whilst providing the highest standard of customer care. Jane is absolutely that person who ensures that our patient centric vision is delivered by all staff at the clinic. Jane would be your first point of contact to welcome you with a warm smile and polite greeting when you come in to our clinic or phone us. Her mission is to ensure every experience with us is a positive one resulting in a positive outcome .

Ashling Lawes

Audiology Practitioner

Ashling is our resident Audiology Practitioner who works across both our Sutton and Raheny clinics carrying out Ear Wax Removal and Hearing Screens. Ashling graduated in 2012 with a BA(Hons) in Psychology from Dublin Business School. It was after this that she discovered an interest and later a passion for the world of Audiology, so she spent the next 4 years attending Aston University where she qualified as an Audiology Practitioner.

Prior to joining Audi-Lab, Ashling spent the last 6 years working for two of the largest hearing healthcare providers in Europe. Her attentions were focussed mainly on Ear Wax Removal along with supported Hearing Aid fittings, hearing tests, Hearing Aid adjustments and fine tunes. We were delighted to bring Ashling onboard as she was looking to work for a customer focussed progressive business that still captured that family-run feeling so it was a perfect match. Ashling is a very caring and empathetic person who lives our Audi-Lab values through her daily work. If you've got the wax then she's got the solution ! Ashling is fully qualified in Micro-suction .

Laura Thompson

Raheny Practice Manager

Laura is our Practice Manager based at the Raheny Clinic. She joined Audi-Lab in 2023 and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of every aspect of our Clinical operations, from co-ordination of our Audiologists to ensuring all aspects of patient aftercare are ran smoothly. She is a super friendly and empathetic member of the team, demonstrated by the way she supports all of our patients through their journey towards better hearing and an improved quality of life.

Laura is passionate about our company Vision – To provide exceptional Hearingcare that connects people through better hearing. Over the course of her career Laura has worked for a number of medical companies, where she has crafted her excellent customer care skills resulting in a perfect service, right from the greeting at reception through to your ongoing support as she builds meaningful relationships with our patients. Her mission is to ensure every experience with us is a positive one resulting in a positive outcome.
